East Elementary’s futsal teams—coached by Mr. Fahey for the boys and Ms. Couch for the girls—have become a cornerstone of the school's athletic program, embodying teamwork, skill development, and school spirit. Under Mr. Fahey’s guidance, the boys’ team has honed their agility and ball control, excelling in fast-paced, small-sided games that emphasize quick decision-making and precise footwork. Ms. Couch leads the girls’ team with equal dedication, fostering an environment where players build confidence and camaraderie through strategic play and mutual support.

Both teams participate in the Jackson-Madison County School System’s indoor soccer league, where they face off against peers from other schools, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship. The futsal program not only enhances students' athletic abilities but also instills values of discipline, resilience, and collaboration. With the unwavering support of their coaches, East Elementary’s futsal teams continue to inspire pride and enthusiasm within the school community.
