East Elementary’s basketball teams, both girls and boys, are a source of school pride and spirit, showcasing talent, teamwork, and dedication on and off the court. Coached by passionate staff members, Mr. Fahey, Mrs. Miller, and Ms. Nicely who value character as much as skill, these young athletes learn the fundamentals of the game while building confidence, discipline, and strong friendships.

The boys’ team brings energy and focus to every practice and game, working hard to sharpen their plays, communicate effectively, and support one another through both victories and challenges. Their teamwork and hustle reflect a commitment to growth that goes beyond the scoreboard. The girls’ team is equally impressive, combining determination and and strong leadership. These athletes bring a fierce sense of teamwork to every game, encouraging one another and never backing down from a tough opponent. Whether it's a fast-paced game or a team-building activity off the court, the girls show resilience and unity.
